Exam Results
CAT Result 2023 will be announced after the exam has been successfully conducted on 26 November 2023. To check the result, the candidates have to visit the CAT 2023 official website i.e iimcat.ac.in. Aspirants can log in through their user ID and password to check IIM CAT result 2023. The result constitutes the overall score & percentile and sectional scores & percentile.
- Along with the CAT result 2023, the authorities have also released the list of CAT 2023 toppers.
- CAT cut-off 2023 and Admission Criteria will be released by 13 IIMs. Based on the individual CAT cut-offs, the shortlisting will begin by the IIMs.
- CAT results are calculated by the IIMs using the score normalization method.
- CAT percentile scores will be valid for admission in 20 IIMs, 7 IITs and 500+ non-IIM institutes.
- Last year, CAT Result was declared on December 21, 2022, for 1,91,660 candidates. Out of these, only 11 candidates managed to get a 100 percentile.

CAT Result 2023: Important Points
IIMs will likely released the CAT 2023 result in the last week of December 2023, during the evening hours. The candidates are suggested to must go through the important instructions given by IIMs regarding CAT 2023 Result declaration and about downloading of scorecards.
- After the declaration of result, the candidates will be intimated through the SMS on their registered mobile number for downloading their scorecard. Please note, that the scorecard will be released only online and there will be no sending of scorecard hardcopies via post.
- CAT Result contains the overall and sectional scaled scores of the candidates. The overall scaled score is calculated on the overall raw scores of the candidates and is not the sum of the scaled scores of the VARC, DILR and QA sections.
- The validity of the CAT scorecard will be till Jan 2024 (tentative).
- Candidates must note, that getting the CAT Scorecard does not guarantee admission to them into the MBA colleges. But, the IIMs and non-IIMs release their own individual cut offs and follow their own selection procedure for admission into the MBA/ PGDM courses.
